AI-suggested

Upgrade REDAXO core to version 5.21.5 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. Applying this official fix ensures that sessions and stay-logged-in cookies are properly invalidated upon password changes, preventing attackers from retaining access.

Description

REDAXO core versions before 5.21.5 have a vulnerability where session expiration is insufficient. This flaw allows attackers who have obtained a user's session ID or stay-logged-in cookie to maintain backend access even after the user changes their password. The stay-logged-in cookie remains valid for up to three months, enabling persistent unauthorized access.
