Description

CVE-2026-119414 is an authorization bypass vulnerability in Bitwarden Server versions before 2026.10.1 using Entity Framework backends. It allows organization members to add vault items to collections they do not have edit permissions for by exploiting a flaw where a null UserId is treated as administrative during POST /api/ciphers/create calls. This enables injection of ciphers into read-only or inaccessible collections.
