Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-4110 is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (CWE-79) vulnerability in the ultimate-woocommerce-auction-pro WordPress plugin through version 2.4.5. The issue arises from insufficient sanitization and escaping of user-supplied input before it is reflected in the page output. This flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts that could execute in the context of high privilege users, including administrators. The vulnerability is publicly known but no CVSS score or vendor advisory with a patch is currently available.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of privileged users, potentially leading to session hijacking, unauthorized actions, or other attacks against the WordPress site. The impact is significant given the potential targeting of admin users, but no known exploits in the wild have been reported.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, administrators should exercise caution with plugin usage and consider limiting access to the affected plugin's functionality. Monitor official sources for updates and patches.
