Description
CVE-2026-42194 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Admidio, an open-source user management solution. The flaw exists in versions prior to 5.0.9 due to an incomplete fix in fetch_metadata.php, where the resolved IP address is validated but the original hostname-based URL is still passed to curl_init(). This creates a DNS rebinding time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) window that can redirect requests to internal IP addresses. The issue has been fixed in version 5.0.9.
