A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel as indicated by multiple fixed commit versions. Users should update to a kernel version that includes these fixes to prevent crashes caused by this vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's HID prodikeys driver allows fake USB devices to cause a crash by sending their own report descriptors, bypassing the input_mapping() hook and leaving a pointer (pm->input_ep82) NULL. This flaw does not affect real devices but can be triggered by malicious impersonation of such devices.
