Technical Analysis

The vulnerability identified as CVE-2026-44335 affects PraisonAI versions before 1.6.32. It stems from a logical flaw in the URL validation logic, allowing attackers to bypass checks and trigger SSRF attacks. SSRF vulnerabilities enable attackers to make unauthorized requests from the server to internal or external systems. The issue has been patched in version 1.6.32, mitigating the risk.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation of this SSRF vulnerability could allow an unauthenticated attacker to induce the PraisonAI server to make arbitrary HTTP requests. This can lead to unauthorized access to internal resources or services that are otherwise inaccessible, potentially exposing sensitive data or enabling further attacks. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 7.7, indicating a high impact with network attack vector, no privileges or user interaction required, and high impact on confidentiality.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade PraisonAI to version 1.6.32 or later, where the URL checking logic flaw has been fixed. Since the vendor has released an official patch, applying this update is the recommended remediation. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.
