AI-suggested

A fix is available in Linux kernel version 5.7.6, which corrects the error handling path to properly release the runtime PM reference. Users should update to this or a later patched kernel version to remediate the issue.

Description

A runtime power management (PM) reference leak was identified and fixed in the Linux kernel's gp2ap002 light sensor driver. The issue occurs when a read error happens during lux value retrieval, causing the driver to skip releasing a PM reference, which prevents the device from autosuspending properly.
