AI-suggested

A patch is available and has been released in Linux kernel versions 7.0.0-1014.14~24.04.1 and later. Users should update to these fixed versions to resolve the issue. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mmc subsystem (sdhci-esdhc-imx driver) was fixed by correcting the esdhc_change_pinstate() function. The flaw prevented devices with a sleep pinctrl state but without high-speed pin states (100mhz/200mhz) from restoring their default pin configuration, potentially causing improper device behavior. The issue was resolved by moving error checks into their respective switch cases to allow the default state to be restored properly.
