AI-suggested
A patch is available and has been applied in Linux kernel versions 5.15.0-1117.124~20.04.1 and later. Users and administrators should update to these fixed versions to remediate the vulnerability. No additional mitigation steps are required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's spi uniphier driver was fixed by correcting the initialization order of a completion object before calling devm_request_irq(). Previously, the interrupt handler could be triggered before the completion was initialized, causing undefined behavior. This flaw has been addressed in patched kernel versions.
