Description
CVE-2026-72300 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC SOF topology parser where the vendor array size is not properly validated before parsing. This can cause the parser to read incomplete or malformed data, potentially leading to incorrect behavior. The issue arises from improper validation of the vendor array size field, allowing negative or too-small sizes to bypass checks. The vulnerability has been fixed in multiple Linux kernel versions.
