Description
A time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) vulnerability was fixed in the Linux kernel's ASoC SOF ipc4-control component. The flaw involved incorrect handling of buffer copy sizes in sof_ipc4_bytes_put(), where the copy length was derived from stale data size rather than the incoming new data size. This could lead to truncation or copying of stale bytes. The issue has been addressed by validating and using the incoming data's size before copying.
