AI-suggested

Upgrade tsparticles to version 4.3.2 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. Until then, avoid running stable release workflows with untrusted release note content. There are no vendor advisories indicating alternative mitigations or that no action is required.

Description

A command injection vulnerability exists in tsparticles versions 4.0.0 through 4.3.1. The stable publish workflow interpolates contributor-controlled release note text directly into a Bash echo command, allowing execution of arbitrary shell commands when a maintainer runs a stable release. This can lead to modification of release artifacts or scripts and potentially compromise secrets like GITHUB_TOKEN. The issue is fixed in version 4.3.2.
