Description

CVE-2026-84828 is a vulnerability in the Pacemaker Configuration System (PCS) affecting Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and other versions shipping PCS 0.10.8 and later. A local attacker who is a member of the 'haclient' group can exploit the 'pcs host auth --token' command to read arbitrary files smaller than 256 bytes with root privileges via the pcsd daemon. This allows disclosure of sensitive information such as API keys or tokens. Exploitation requires local access, membership in the privileged group, and a multi-step exfiltration process.
