Description

CVE-2026-87824 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the zstd-jni library before version 1.5.7-14. It occurs in the Zstd.trainFromBufferDirect function, which fails to properly validate the capacity of the samples buffer. Attackers can exploit this by supplying oversized per-sample lengths, causing the native code to read beyond allocated memory and potentially crash the JVM.
