This issue has been fixed in the Linux kernel. Users should update to a fixed kernel version containing the referenced commits (e.g., those identified by the provided commit hashes). No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A reference count leak vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel's MHI endpoint device creation process. Specifically, if device naming or addition fails during mhi_ep_create_device(), not all device references are properly released, causing resource leaks. This issue has been fixed by ensuring all references are dropped on failure paths.
