A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel. Users should update to a fixed kernel version containing the patches identified by the provided commit hashes. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A use-after-free vulnerability was identified and fixed in the Linux kernel's mlx5 Ethernet switch (E-Switch) component. The flaw occurs in the mlx5_eswitch_termtbl_put() function where a race condition between concurrent callers can lead to accessing freed memory. The issue was resolved by ensuring the cleanup decision is made while holding the mutex, preventing use-after-free.
