Users should update their Linux kernel to a version including these fixes to prevent filesystem inconsistencies. No known exploits are reported in the wild.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's btrfs filesystem was fixed by ensuring that transactions are properly aborted when inode updates fail during hole punching and reflinking operations. Previously, failure to update the inode did not abort the transaction, potentially causing persistent filesystem inconsistencies after committing the transaction.
