A patch is available and has been applied in the fixed commits referenced. Users should update to the fixed Linux kernel versions containing the commits f47190b08b71e8482072978373ee88cb2dfbdaf4, 116bba758533a139bbede8d717a1371bd6d890f6, or 04bb5b2eb9f1d56110f14d3a4e31fa2c65fb026f. Since this is a Linux kernel vulnerability, applying the official kernel update is the recommended remediation.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel s390/uv subsystem could cause an out-of-bounds read when the system has more than 85 secrets. This occurs because the uv_secret_list struct array only holds up to 85 items per page, but the code incorrectly loops over the overall count instead of the per sub-list count. This flaw has been fixed by correcting the loop to use the per sub-list count of stored secrets.
