Until a fix is applied, consider limiting exposure to untrusted certificate chains with excessive policy mappings or implementing resource usage monitoring to detect potential denial of service conditions.
Description
A vulnerability in Golang 1.10 causes inefficient validation of certificate chains that use policies when certificates contain a very large number of policy mappings. This inefficiency can lead to a denial of service during validation of trusted certificate chains issued by a root CA in the configured certificate pool.
