Apply the official patches provided by Ubuntu as detailed in security notices USN-8430-1, USN-8471-1, USN-8472-1, and USN-8473-1. Updating to the fixed package versions listed in the advisories will remediate the vulnerability. Standard system updates are sufficient to address this issue. No additional mitigation steps are required.
Description
A vulnerability in Golang 1.10's HTTP/2 transport causes an infinite loop when processing SETTINGS frames with a SETTINGS_MAX_FRAME_SIZE value of 0. This can lead to a denial of service by exhausting resources. The issue affects multiple Ubuntu package versions and has been assigned CVE-2026-33814. Fixes are available in updated package versions across supported Ubuntu releases.
