Until a fix is available, avoid configuring outgoing bridge connections with incoming topics that use topic remapping or restrict untrusted remote connections from sending PUBLISH packets to such bridges.
Description
Eclipse Mosquitto versions 2.0.0 through 2.0.18 contain a double free vulnerability that can cause the broker to crash. This occurs when the broker is configured with an outgoing bridge connection that uses topic remapping on an incoming topic, and the remote connection sends a specially crafted PUBLISH packet.
