A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/virtio driver occurs when KMS (Kernel Mode Setting) is disabled. The issue involves uninitialized DRM atomic and modesetting components, which leads to accessing uninitialized data during driver removal or unbinding, causing a kernel crash.
