A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iosm network driver was resolved that involved improper validation of device-supplied offsets and lengths in the MUX downlink decoder. The decoder used unvalidated indices and lengths from the modem, leading to potential out-of-bounds reads and an infinite loop condition.
