Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-108660 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in JeecgBoot versions up to 3.9.5. Authenticated users can call the PUT /sys/tenant/updateApplyStatus endpoint to modify tenant settings without proper authorization checks. This allows low-privileged attackers to overwrite the applyStatus field for any tenant by specifying its tenant ID, affecting tenant administrator application status across tenants. The vulnerability is classified under CWE-862 (Missing Authorization).

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows authenticated users with low privileges to modify tenant settings they should not have access to, specifically the applyStatus field. This can lead to unauthorized enabling or disabling of tenant administrator applications across different tenants, potentially disrupting tenant management and operations. There is no impact on confidentiality or availability reported.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected API endpoint to trusted users only and monitor for unauthorized modification attempts. Implement additional authorization checks if possible to prevent unauthorized tenant setting changes.
