Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-108869 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in JeecgBoot up to version 3.9.5. Low-privileged authenticated users can exploit this flaw by invoking the POST /sys/api/sendSysAnnouncement API endpoint, supplying arbitrary parameters to send forged system announcements. These announcements can be delivered through WebSocket and integrations with WeCom, DingTalk, and Feishu, potentially misleading users. The vulnerability impacts the integrity of system communications but does not affect confidentiality or availability.
Potential Impact
The vulnerability allows low-privileged authenticated users to send forged system announcements to any users, potentially misleading recipients or causing misinformation. There is no impact on confidentiality or availability reported. The integrity of system announcements is compromised, which could affect trust in system communications.
Mitigation Recommendations
Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Since no patch or official fix information is provided, users should monitor vendor communications for updates. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the vulnerable API endpoint to trusted users only and consider additional authorization checks if possible.
