AI-suggested
Users of the Gridbox Joomla extension should upgrade to version 2.20.5.0 or later once it becomes available, as this version is indicated as the fixed release. Until then, applying input sanitization controls or disabling the review feature may reduce risk. Monitor vendor advisories for official fixes and guidance.
Description
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Joomla extension Gridbox versions prior to 2.20.5.0. The flaw arises from inconsistent sanitization of user-submitted reviews, allowing malicious scripts to be stored and executed in the context of users viewing these reviews.
