Description
The npm package andi-papeda32-sluey is part of a large-scale malicious campaign involving over 15,000 spam packages flooding the npm registry in 2024. These packages contain autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized names to manipulate developer reputation scores for the tea.xyz token reward system. The malicious code modifies package metadata to remove privacy flags, alters version numbers, and continuously republishes variants, thereby polluting the npm ecosystem.
