Until a fix is available, users should avoid running cuobjdump on untrusted ELF files to mitigate risk.
Description
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the cuobjdump component of the NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit across all platforms. An attacker can exploit this by tricking a user into running cuobjdump on a crafted malicious ELF file. Successful exploitation may allow arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running cuobjdump.
