Upgrade Pillow to version 12.3.0 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated or required.

Description

A vulnerability in the Pillow Python imaging library versions from 5.1.0 up to 12.3.0 allows crafted PDF streams to cause memory exhaustion. The issue arises because PdfParser.PdfStream.decode() calls zlib.decompress() with a buffer size based on the PDF stream Length field without limiting the decompressed output size. This flaw is fixed in version 12.3.0.
