AI-suggested

Upgrade pyasn1 to version 14.1.0_1 or later, where the issue is fixed. Alternatively, avoid converting, printing, or comparing decoded Real objects from untrusted sources and instead inspect the raw (mantissa, base, exponent) tuple to prevent triggering the resource exhaustion.

Description

A vulnerability in the pyasn1 library's univ.Real type allows uncontrolled resource consumption when converting decoded REAL values with large exponents. This can cause excessive CPU and memory usage, leading to denial of service when operations like printing, logging, or comparing decoded REAL values from untrusted ASN.1 data are performed. The issue is fixed in pyasn1 version 14.1.0_1.
