AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 and related variants that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the provided security update as soon as possible to remediate these issues. For detailed update instructions, refer to the Red Hat advisory at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified and fixed in the Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) 9 DNS server implementation. These include memory exhaustion, denial of service via crafted DNS messages, DNSSEC validation bypass, cache poisoning, assertion failures, and arbitrary code execution via GSS-TSIG UDP message replay. The update also includes bug fixes and enhancements such as avoiding costly reloads and adding a new root trust anchor key for DNSSEC. The issues affect Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 and related variants.
