Description
CVE-2026-54284 is a vulnerability in the sqlparse Python module used by Red Hat Lightspeed in Satellite. The flaw involves inefficient handling of nested token subtrees during SQL parsing, causing quadratic CPU consumption. This can lead to denial of service (DoS) by exhausting CPU resources when processing crafted deeply nested SQL statements. The vulnerability affects deployments where untrusted SQL input is parsed without sufficient controls.
