AI-suggested
Red Hat has released updated packages for affected components in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4 Update Services for SAP Solutions. Users should apply these official updates as described in the Red Hat advisory (https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258) to remediate the vulnerabilities. No additional mitigation steps are indicated or required beyond applying the provided patches.
Description
Two denial of service vulnerabilities have been identified in the jackson-databind component of the Jackson Data Processor used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4 Update Services for SAP Solutions. The first (CVE-2026-68497) involves CPU exhaustion via unbounded numeric parsing, and the second (CVE-2026-91777) involves denial of service through quadratic forward-reference completion. These issues could allow an attacker to cause resource exhaustion leading to service disruption.
