Description
Red Hat has issued a security advisory for nodejs22 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 addressing multiple denial of service vulnerabilities. The issues include exponential-time complexity in brace-expansion (CVE-2026-13149), denial of service via malformed tar archive header (CVE-2026-59874), and denial of service via crafted gzip bomb (CVE-2026-59873). These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to cause service disruption by exhausting resources. The update is rated as important by Red Hat Product Security and fixes are available in nodejs22 version 22.23.1-4.el10_2 and related packages. Users of affected Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 variants are advised to apply the update as per Red Hat's guidance.
