AI-suggested

Currently, no mitigation is available that meets Red Hat Product Security's standards for usability, deployment, applicability, or stability. Avoid enabling PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES if possible until a fix is released.

Description

A vulnerability in PHP's PDO PostgreSQL driver can cause a denial of service (DoS) when the PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES option is enabled. An attacker can trigger a null pointer dereference by supplying an invalid character sequence in a prepared statement parameter, leading to a server crash and impacting availability. No mitigation currently meets Red Hat's standards, and a fix is not yet available.
