AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated RPM packages (grafana13.2-13.2.4-0.6.hum1) that fix this vulnerability. Users should apply these updates to remediate the issue. If updating is not immediately possible, ensure the allowEmptyArrays option remains set to false when serializing untrusted input. If empty array support is required, sanitize or validate object keys to reject or escape URL delimiter characters (&, =, #) before serialization.

Description

A vulnerability in the qs package used in Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs allows improper encoding of object keys containing empty array values when configured with allowEmptyArrays: true. This flaw can be exploited by a remote attacker supplying crafted input with query delimiter characters to inject arbitrary query parameters or truncate query strings forwarded to downstream services. Red Hat has released updated RPMs including grafana13.2-13.2.4-0.6.hum1 to address this issue.
