Upgrade rust-zip to version 9.0.5 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated or required as the issue is resolved in the official patch.
Description
The Rust zip library (rust-zip) through version 9.0.4 has a vulnerability where ZipArchive treats Central Directory File Header filenames as authoritative, but ZipStreamReader extracts files using Local File Header filenames without reconciling the differences. This discrepancy allows a crafted ZIP archive to appear benign during inspection but cause the extractor to write files to attacker-chosen paths, potentially overwriting critical files. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.5.
