AI-suggested

Apply the official fix by upgrading Snakeviz to version 2.2.2_3 or later, where the validation of cookie attributes in Tornado's set_cookie method is corrected. Since a patch is available, remediation should be performed promptly to eliminate the vulnerability.

Description

Tornado versions prior to 6.5.5 used by Snakeviz did not fully validate cookie attribute values in the set_cookie method, allowing semicolons in domain, path, and samesite arguments. This flaw could enable injection of attacker-controlled cookie attributes. The issue affects Snakeviz versions >=2.2.0 and <2.2.2_3 and has been fixed in 2.2.2_3. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS score of 5.4.
