AI-suggested

If you cannot patch yet, users should consider avoiding keep-alive or pipelined connections with affected Starman versions or use alternative HTTP servers.

Description

Starman versions prior to 0.4019 for Perl incorrectly send response bodies for HEAD requests, causing response desynchronization on keep-alive connections. Specifically, Starman omits chunked framing for HEAD requests but still writes the response body, including for 1xx, 204, or 304 status codes. This behavior can cause clients or front-end proxies reusing upstream connections to misinterpret response boundaries, pairing responses with incorrect requests.
