Users should monitor the vendor's advisory channels for updates. Until a fix is released, restrict contributor-level access to trusted users and consider additional input validation or web application firewall rules to detect and block malicious payloads targeting the 'headingTag' parameter.

Description

The aBlocks WordPress plugin up to version 2.18.0 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) via the 'headingTag' parameter. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view the affected pages. This vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
