Until a fix is available, cautious use of NetX Secure TLS/DTLS clients with untrusted servers is advised.
Description
Two client-side TLS/DTLS handshake parsers in NetX Secure perform out-of-bounds reads by accessing fields from a server-supplied message before verifying the message length. This vulnerability occurs when a TLS or DTLS client connects to a malicious or malformed server. Although a bounds check exists, it is executed after the unsafe read, leading to a bounded out-of-bounds read condition.
