AI-suggested

Users should upgrade to UnRTF version 0.21.13-1.oe2203sp4 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. Applying this official patch eliminates the risk of this out-of-bounds write vulnerability. No additional mitigation is required once the update is applied.

Description

UnRTF, a command-line tool for converting Rich Text Format documents to various formats, contains a vulnerability that allows an attacker to cause an out-of-bounds write. This flaw can be triggered by opening a maliciously crafted RTF file, potentially leading to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. The issue is addressed in version 0.21.13-1.oe2203sp4.
