| High | – | EPSS 0.4% | CVE-2025-2786Red Hat Security Advisory: Red Hat OpenShift distributed tracing platform (Tempo) 3.5.1 release HighEPSS 0.4%GCVE DatabaseCVE-2025-2786 Release of Red Hat OpenShift distributed tracing provides following security improvements, bug fixes, and new features. The Red Hat OpenShift distributed tracing (Tempo) 3.5.1 is based on the open source link:https://grafana.com/oss/tempo/[Grafana Tempo] release 2.7.1. Breaking changes: * With this update, for a user to create or modify a TempoStack or TempoMonolithic CR with enabled multi-tenancy, the user must have permissions to create a TokenReview and SubjectAccessReview. Deprecations: * Nothing Technology Preview features: * Nothing Enhancements: * Nothing Bug fixes: * https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2025-2786 * https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2025-2842 Known issues: * Currently, when the OpenShift tenancy mode is enabled, the ServiceAccount of the gateway component of a TempoStack or TempoMonolithic instance requires the TokenReview and SubjectAccessReview permissions for authorization. Workaround: deploy the instance in a dedicated namespace, and carefully audit which users have permission to read the Secrets in this namespace. | GCVE Database | ||

Although the -ENOSPC is already a bug related to our space reservation code, let's just focus on the error handling. For example, we have the following dirty range [0, 64K) of an inode, with 4K sector size and 4K page size: 0 16K 32K 48K 64K |///////////////////////////////////////| |#######################################| Where |///| means page are still dirty, and |###| means the extent io tree has EXTENT_DELALLOC flag. - Enter extent_writepage() for page 0 - Enter btrfs_run_delalloc_range() for range [0, 64K) - Enter cow_file_range() for range [0, 64K) - Function btrfs_reserve_extent() only reserved one 16K extent So we created extent map and ordered extent for range [0, 16K) 0 16K 32K 48K 64K |////////|//////////////////////////////| |<- OE ->|##############################| And range [0, 16K) has its delalloc flag cleared. But since we haven't yet submit any bio, involved 4 pages are still dirty. - Function btrfs_reserve_extent() returns with -ENOSPC Now we have to run error cleanup, which will clear all EXTENT_DELALLOC* flags and clear the dirty flags for the remaining ranges: 0 16K 32K 48K 64K |////////| | | | | Note that range [0, 16K) still has its pages dirty. - Some time later, writeback is triggered again for the range [0, 16K) since the page range still has dirty flags. - btrfs_run_delalloc_range() will do nothing because there is no EXTENT_DELALLOC flag. - extent_writepage_io() finds page 0 has no ordered flag Which falls into the COW fixup path, triggering the BUG_ON(). Unfortunately this error handling bug dates back to the introduction of btrfs. Thankfully with the abuse of COW fixup, at least it won't crash the kernel. [FIX] Instead of immediately unlocking the extent and folios, we keep the extent and folios locked until either erroring out or the whole delalloc range finished. When the whole delalloc range finished without error, we just unlock the whole range with PAGE_SET_ORDERED (and PAGE_UNLOCK for !keep_locked cases) ---truncated--- EPSS 0.3%Vulnerability | GCVE Database | ||
| Medium | 6.7 | EPSS 0.6% | Medium6.7EPSS 0.6%CVE Database V5 A flaw was found in the Pulp package. When a role-based access control (RBAC) object in Pulp is set to assign permissions on its creation, it uses the `AutoAddObjPermsMixin` (typically the add_roles_for_object_creator method). This method finds the object creator by checking the current authenticated user. For objects that are created within a task, this current user is set by the first user with any permissions on the task object. This means the oldest user with model/domain-level task permissions will always be set as the current user of a task, even if they didn't dispatch the task. Therefore, all objects created in tasks will have their permissions assigned to this oldest user, and the creating user will receive nothing. EPSS 0.6%Vulnerability | CVE Database V5 | ||
| High | 8.8 | EPSS 0.4% | CVE-2024-2125EnvíaloSimple: Email Marketing y Newsletters (WordPress plugin) · Unrestricted File Upload High8.8EPSS 0.4%CVE Database V5CVE-2024-2125 The EnvíaloSimple: Email Marketing y Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.3. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the gallery_add function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload malicious files via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The Cross-Site Request Forgery was patched in 2.4, however, nothing was done about the ability to upload arbitrary files. | CVE Database V5 | ||
| Critical | 9.8 | EPSS 1.1% | CVE-2024-24213Supabase PostgreSQL · SQL Injection Critical9.8EPSS 1.1%CVE Database V5CVE-2024-24213 Supabase PostgreSQL v15.1 was discovered to contain a SQL injection vulnerability via the component /pg_meta/default/query. NOTE: the vendor's position is that this is an intended feature; also, it exists in the Supabase dashboard product, not the Supabase PostgreSQL product. Specifically, /pg_meta/default/query is for SQL queries that are entered in an intended UI by an authorized user. Nothing is injected. | CVE Database V5 |
