CVE-2026-103513 is a critical out-of-bounds read and write vulnerability in the Apache DataSketches C++ library's CPC sketch deserialization. It occurs when a crafted serialized CPC sketch is deserialized, allowing reading past the end of compressed data and writing outside an internal heap buffer due to lack of validation on decoded indices and header fields. This can corrupt heap memory, causing crashes and potentially enabling further exploitation. The issue affects versions from 2.0.0-incubating up to 5.2.0. Upgrading to version 5.3.0 resolves the vulnerability.
CVE-2026-107837 is a high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability in RIOT-OS, an open-source microcontroller operating system for IoT devices. The flaw exists in the _receive() function of the sixlowpan network layer in versions 2026.07 and earlier. It allows a remote attacker to send a malformed 6LoWPAN fragment that triggers reading beyond the packet buffer, potentially causing memory disclosure and crashing the network stack. No official fix or patched release is available as of the latest review.
RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. In 2026.07 and earlier, the nanoCoAP client function nanocoap_sock_get_slice() in sys/net/application_layer/nanocoap/sock.c accepts a Block2 response when _block_cb() sees the expected block number without also verifying that the server-controlled szx and derived offset match the requested block geometry. A malicious CoAP server can return the expected block number with a larger block size, causing the derived offset to exceed the client slice offset and making ctx->offset - offset underflow in _2buf_slice(). The resulting buffer-relative calculation can read before the payload buffer and crash the client, causing denial of service and potentially exposing adjacent memory. No fixed release is available as of this review.
MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the mysql_json plugin assumed that imported MySQL tables contained valid MySQL binary JSON data. A specially prepared MySQL table containing invalid JSON data could cause out-of-bounds reads, information disclosure, or a server crash. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2.
CVE-2026-107816 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the MariaDB server's qc_info plugin affecting multiple versions from 10.6.1 through versions prior to 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. The flaw occurs when a query containing embedded null bytes is cached, and subsequent reading of information_schema.query_cache_info may access memory beyond the allocated buffer, potentially disclosing adjacent memory or causing a server crash. The issue has been fixed in the specified later versions.
The Affinity by Canva app for macOS before 3.3.1 (October 2026 release) did not perform adequate bounds checking when generating QuickLook thumbnails and previews of Affinity document files, leading to an out-of-bounds heap read. A threat actor could craft an Affinity document that, when displayed or previewed by a user in Finder, could disclose the contents of adjacent heap memory, including memory addresses, in the rendered thumbnail or preview image.
CVE-2026-107738 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in SumatraPDF version 3.6.1 and earlier. The issue occurs in the ChmFile::GetCharZ() function, which improperly converts unsigned string offsets to signed integers without checking for negative values. This can cause the function to read memory before the intended buffer, leading to deterministic application termination. No broader impact beyond application termination is reported. No fixed version is currently available.
SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.7.0.22298, four independently reachable range-validation variants in src/LitDoc.cpp allow file-controlled offsets and sizes to overflow, narrow to negative values, or wrap before incomplete bounds checks. The affected calculations include contentOffset, the directory expression dirOff64 + dirLen64, and the decoded-section offset + size, along with secondary-header range handling. Opening a crafted LIT file that reaches one of these variants can cause invalid pointer reads and deterministic application termination. No broader impact is claimed beyond the advisory-supported conditions. No fixed version is available as of this review.
SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.7.0.22298, src/MobiDoc.cpp narrows the untrusted unsigned mobiHdr.hdrLen field to a signed integer for validation; values above INT_MAX become negative and bypass the upper-bound check. When the EXTH flag is set, the original unsigned value is reused as a pointer offset, causing DecodeExthHeader() to read beyond the record buffer. Opening a crafted MOBI file can reliably terminate the application with a native access violation; no code execution, information disclosure, or integrity impact has been demonstrated. No fixed version is available as of this review.
CVE-2026-106435 is a medium severity vulnerability in the MongoDB Python Driver's binary accelerator. It involves an out-of-bounds read when decoding malformed BSON with a truncated regular-expression element lacking a trailing NUL byte. This can cause the application process to terminate if the C extension is loaded. The vulnerability is triggered only via the documented decode or decode_all API and does not affect the normal database wire-protocol path.
CVE-2026-12091 is a low severity vulnerability in IBM Security Verify Access and IBM Verify Identity Access. It involves a heap-based out-of-bounds read that could be triggered remotely by sending a specially crafted request. This flaw may cause a denial of service but does not impact confidentiality or integrity. The affected versions are IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3.
mongo-c-driver is a project that includes two libraries: libmongoc, a client library written in C for MongoDB. libbson, a library providing useful routines related to building, parsing, and iterating BSON documents.
Security Fix(es):
An out-of-bounds read in SCRAM authentication response parsing in the MongoDB C Driver can read one byte beyond a fixed-size buffer when processing a malformed server-final message. A server or network intermediary able to provide this message before server-signature verification can cause the application using the driver to terminate. The extra byte is not returned through the protocol.(CVE-2026-106428)
An off-by-one error in the BSON bulk document writer in the MongoDB C Driver can write one zero byte immediately past a heap allocation when a document ends at a specific buffer boundary. An actor who can influence the size of documents serialized by an embedding application can corrupt adjacent process memory or terminate the process. Reaching this issue requires the application to use the BSON bulk-writer API and produce a precise cumulative document size.(CVE-2026-106431)
The BSON buffer-reservation API in the MongoDB C Driver can record a length smaller than the five-byte BSON minimum. Later append or comparison operations can underflow unsigned length calculations and read or write outside the document buffer. An actor who can influence the length supplied by an embedding application can cause the application to terminate or read or corrupt adjacent process memory. Reaching this issue requires the application to pass an undersized value to bson_reserve_buffer and then perform an affected operation.(CVE-2026-106437)
An incorrect calculation in Decimal128 string parsing in the MongoDB C Driver can accept certain over-precision inputs containing leading zeros instead of rejecting them. This produces a value different from the supplied text. An actor who can provide a decimal string to an embedding application, including through Extended JSON parsing, can cause the application to store or use an incorrect numeric value.(CVE-2026-106438)
A size check in the client-side authentication path of the MongoDB C Driver can wrap around, so an unusually large user-name value is accepted and copied past the end of a small buffer. A party able to set the driver's connection settings may cause the application that embeds the driver to terminate unexpectedly. Reaching this code requires a build in which the optional external SASL authentication backend is present and a connection configured to use it.(CVE-2026-88035)
Improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic in the GridFS component of the MongoDB C Driver can cause a caller-supplied structured file identifier to be interpreted as a query condition rather than as a literal identifier. An authenticated user who can influence the identifier passed by an affected application may obtain stored file content beyond the intended target or cause all GridFS file chunks in the affected bucket to be removed, rendering stored file content unreadable.(CVE-2026-88036)
A flaw in libmongoc's SCRAM authentication implementation caused the client to continue the authentication handshake and transmit the client proof even when a nonce mismatch was detected in the server's first message. An unauthorized party with a man-in-the-middle position could exploit this by injecting a crafted server-first-message containing a controlled salt and low iteration count, then capturing the resulting client proof to perform offline password cracking. This vulnerability is mitigated by TLS, which is standard in production deployments.(CVE-2026-93394)
A missing lower-bound validation in the bson_new_from_buffer() function of libbson allows an integer underflow when processing BSON data with a zero-length prefix. The function reads a 32-bit document length from the input buffer but does not verify that the value is at least 5 (the minimum valid BSON document size) before using it in an array index calculation. When the length field is zero, the expression used to check the document's null terminator wraps to UINT32_MAX, causing a heap out-of-bounds read that crashes the process. An unauthorized party who can supply crafted BSON input to an application using this API can cause a denial of service.(CVE-2026-93395)
IBM Guardium Data Protection versions 12.0, 12.1, and 12.2 contain a heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the TDS7 LOGIN7 protocol parser. This flaw allows a remote attacker to send a specially crafted TDS LOGIN7 packet with invalid offset or length values, potentially leading to information disclosure or denial of service. The vulnerability has a high severity rating with a CVSS score of 8.1. No patch or remediation information is currently provided.
CVE-2026-107302 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the msgpack5 library for Node.js and browsers. Versions prior to 6.1.0 improperly read the length of a map32 value before fully validating the header, causing a RangeError instead of the expected IncompleteBufferError on truncated input. This can unexpectedly terminate requests, streams, or workers that rely on the IncompleteBufferError to wait for more data. The issue does not lead to memory disclosure and is fixed in version 6.1.0.
IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to a heap-based buffer overflow.
IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 is vulnerable to buffer overflow.
An integer underflow in WinCursorShapeUtils::trimTransparent() in GlavSoft TightVNC Server for Windows before 2.8.88 allows a local authenticated user to crash the server, and potentially read out-of-bounds memory, by causing a cursor shape with a width or height of zero to be processed on the DXGI capture path. The loop bound width - 1 wraps to 0xFFFFFFFF, producing an access roughly 4 GB beyond the 64 KB cursor buffer; a monochrome cursor of height 1 also becomes 0 because getCursorHeight() halves the height in place.
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the ZRLE decoder of GlavSoft TightVNC Viewer for Windows before 2.8.88 allows a malicious or compromised VNC server to read heap memory beyond the palette allocation and crash the viewer by sending ZRLE-encoded tiles whose palette indices exceed the declared palette size. readPaletteRleTile() and readPackedPaletteTile() use the attacker-supplied index to look up colours without validating it against the palette size; out-of-bounds heap data is copied into the framebuffer (garbled display) or the read faults, terminating the viewer.
IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to an out-of-bounds read.
