Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. From the maple release to before the ulmo release, an unauthenticated attacker can fully bypass the email verification process by combining two issues: the OAuth2 password grant issuing tokens to inactive users (documented behavior) and the activation_key being exposed in the REST API response at /api/user/v1/accounts/. This issue has been patched in the ulmo release.
CVE-2026-5334 is a medium severity SQL injection vulnerability in itsourcecode Online Enrollment System version 1.0. The issue exists in the parameter handling of the /enrollment/index.php? view=edit&id=3 endpoint, specifically through manipulation of the 'deptid' argument. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject SQL commands. Although an exploit is publicly available, there are no known exploits observed in the wild. No patch or official remediation information is currently provided.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 26.0 and prior, the AVideo YPTSocket plugin's caller feature renders incoming call notifications using the jQuery Toast Plugin, passing the caller's display name directly as the heading parameter. The toast plugin constructs the heading as raw HTML ('<h2>' + heading + '</h2>') and inserts it into the DOM via jQuery's .html() method, which parses and executes any embedded HTML or script content. An attacker can set their display name to an XSS payload and trigger code execution on any online user's browser simply by initiating a call - no victim interaction is required beyond being connected to the WebSocket. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
This security update addresses two vulnerabilities in gvfs related to FTP protocol handling: an information disclosure issue from untrusted PASV responses and an arbitrary FTP command injection via unsanitized CRLF sequences in user-supplied file paths. The update to gvfs version 1.59.90 includes fixes for these issues along with other stability and security improvements. The vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to disclose information or inject arbitrary FTP commands when interacting with FTP servers. No specific affected versions were provided in the source data. The update is part of a broader security and functionality update for gnome-online-accounts and gvfs.
CVE-2026-5157 is a medium severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in version 1.0 of the code-projects Online Food Ordering System. The vulnerability exists in the /form/order.php file within the Order Module, where manipulation of the cust_id parameter can lead to XSS attacks. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely and requires user interaction. No patch or official remediation information is provided at this time. The exploit code is publicly available, but there are no known exploits in the wild currently.

The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `verifyTokenSocket()` function in `plugin/YPTSocket/functions.php` has its token timeout validation commented out, causing WebSocket tokens to never expire despite being generated with a 12-hour timeout. This allows captured or legitimately obtained tokens to provide permanent WebSocket access, even after user accounts are deleted, banned, or demoted from admin. Admin tokens grant access to real-time connection data for all online users including IP addresses, browser info, and page locations. Commit 5d5237121bf82c24e9e0fdd5bc1699f1157783c5 fixes the issue.
A SQL Injection vulnerability exists in SourceCodester Online Food Ordering System v1.0 in the Actions.php file (specifically the save_customer action). The application fails to properly sanitize user input supplied to the "username" parameter. This allows an attacker to inject malicious SQL commands.
A SQL Injection vulnerability exists in SourceCodester Online Food Ordering System v1.0 in the Actions.php file (specifically the save_user action). The application fails to properly sanitize user input supplied to the "username" parameter. This allows an authenticated attacker to inject malicious SQL commands.
A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in SourceCodester Online Food Ordering System v1.0 in the Category management module within the admin panel. The application fails to properly sanitize user input supplied to the "Category Name" field when creating or updating a category.
