CVE-2026-6912 is a high-severity vulnerability in AWS Ops Wheel affecting the Cognito User Pool configuration. It allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges to deployment admin by exploiting improper control over dynamically-determined object attributes via a crafted UpdateUserAttributes API call. This enables attackers to set the custom:deployment_admin attribute and manage Cognito user accounts. The vulnerability is present before pull request #165 and affects version 0 of AWS Ops Wheel. AWS manages remediation for this cloud service and has released a fix. Users should redeploy from the updated repository and patch any forked or derivative code accordingly.
CVE-2026-41043 is a medium severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ and its web console. An authenticated attacker can inject malicious HTML content by overriding the content type and injecting HTML into a JMS selector field when browsing queues. This vulnerability affects Apache ActiveMQ versions before 5.19.6 and from 6.0.0 before 6.2.5. The issue allows limited impact on confidentiality and integrity but does not affect availability.
Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.0, a Mass Assignment vulnerability in the DocumentStore creation endpoint allows authenticated users to control the primary key (id) and internal state fields of DocumentStore entities. Because the service uses repository.save() with a client-supplied primary key, the POST create endpoint behaves as an implicit UPSERT operation. This enables overwriting existing DocumentStore objects. In multi-workspace or multi-tenant deployments, this can lead to cross-workspace object takeover and broken object-level authorization (IDOR), allowing an attacker to reassign or modify DocumentStore objects belonging to other workspaces. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.
Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.0, an improper mass assignment (JSON injection) vulnerability in the account registration endpoint of Flowise Cloud allows unauthenticated attackers to inject server-managed fields and nested objects during account creation. This enables client-controlled manipulation of ownership metadata, timestamps, organization association, and role mappings, breaking trust boundaries in a multi-tenant environment. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Versions prior to 1.8.213 have a mass assignment vulnerability in the mailbox connection settings endpoints of FreeScout (`connectionIncomingSave()` at `app/Http/Controllers/MailboxesController.php:468` and `connectionOutgoingSave()` at line 398). Both methods pass `$request->all()` directly to `$mailbox->fill()` without any field allowlisting, allowing an authenticated admin to overwrite any of the 32 fields in the Mailbox model's `$fillable` array -- including security-critical fields that do not belong to the connection settings form, such as `auto_bcc`, `out_server`, `out_password`, `signature`, `auto_reply_enabled`, and `auto_reply_message`. Validation in `connectionIncomingSave()` is entirely commented out, and the validator in `connectionOutgoingSave()` only checks value formats for SMTP fields without stripping extra parameters. An authenticated admin user can exploit this by appending hidden parameters (e.g., `auto_bcc=attacker@evil.com`) to a legitimate connection settings save request. Because the `auto_bcc` field is not displayed on the connection settings form (it only appears on the general mailbox settings page), the injection is invisible to other administrators reviewing connection settings. Once set, every outgoing email from the affected mailbox is silently BCC'd to the attacker via the `SendReplyToCustomer` job. The same mechanism allows redirecting outgoing SMTP through an attacker-controlled server, injecting tracking pixels or phishing links into email signatures, and enabling attacker-crafted auto-replies -- all from a single HTTP request. This is particularly dangerous in multi-admin environments where one admin can silently surveil mailboxes managed by others, and when an admin session is compromised via a separate vulnerability (e.g., XSS), the attacker gains persistent email exfiltration that survives session expiry. Version 1.8.213 fixes the issue.
Vvveb prior to 1.0.8.1 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the admin user profile save endpoint that allows authenticated users to modify privileged fields on their own profile. Attackers can inject role_id=1 into profile save requests to escalate to Super Administrator privileges, enabling plugin upload functionality for remote code execution.
CVE-2026-34179 is a critical vulnerability in Canonical LXD versions 4.12 through 6.7 where the doCertificateUpdate function fails to validate the Type field in certificate update requests. This flaw allows a remote authenticated attacker with restricted TLS certificate user privileges to escalate their privileges to cluster admin. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 9.1, indicating a high severity with network attack vector, low attack complexity, and no user interaction required. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently provided by the vendor. There are no known exploits in the wild at this time.
CVE-2026-5708 is a high-severity vulnerability in AWS Research and Engineering Studio (RES) prior to version 2026.03. It involves improper control of user-modifiable attributes during session creation, allowing an authenticated remote user to escalate privileges and assume the virtual desktop host instance profile permissions. This could enable interaction with AWS resources and services beyond intended access. AWS manages the remediation for this cloud service and advises upgrading to version 2026.03 or applying the corresponding mitigation patch. No known exploits in the wild have been reported.
SandboxJS is a JavaScript sandboxing library. Prior to 0.8.36, SandboxJS blocks direct assignment to global objects (for example Math.random = ...), but this protection can be bypassed through an exposed callable constructor path: this.constructor.call(target, attackerObject). Because this.constructor resolves to the internal SandboxGlobal function and Function.prototype.call is allowed, attacker code can write arbitrary properties into host global objects and persist those mutations across sandbox instances in the same process. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.36.
flatted is a circular JSON parser. Prior to version 3.4.2, the parse() function in flatted can use attacker-controlled string values from the parsed JSON as direct array index keys, without validating that they are numeric. Since the internal input buffer is a JavaScript Array, accessing it with the key "__proto__" returns Array.prototype via the inherited getter. This object is then treated as a legitimate parsed value and assigned as a property of the output object, effectively leaking a live reference to Array.prototype to the consumer. Any code that subsequently writes to that property will pollute the global prototype. This issue has been patched in version 3.4.2.
CVE-2026-27953 is a high-severity vulnerability in ormar, an async mini ORM for Python, affecting versions below 0.23.1. It allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass Pydantic model validation by injecting the "__pk_only__": true parameter in JSON request bodies, enabling direct persistence of unvalidated data to the database. A secondary injection parameter "__excluded__" can nullify arbitrary model fields, facilitating privilege escalation, data integrity violations, and business logic bypass. This vulnerability impacts applications using ormar. Model directly as a request body parameter, especially in FastAPI integrations following ormar's official documentation. The issue has been fixed in version 0.23.1.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 9.6.0-alpha.17 and 8.6.42, an authenticated user can overwrite server-generated session fields (`sessionToken`, `expiresAt`, `createdWith`) when creating a session object via `POST /classes/_Session`. This allows bypassing the server's session expiration policy by setting an arbitrary far-future expiration date. It also allows setting a predictable session token value. Starting in version 9.6.0-alpha.17 and 8.6.42, the session creation endpoint filters out server-generated fields from user-supplied data, preventing them from being overwritten. As a workaround, add a `beforeSave` trigger on the `_Session` class to validate and reject or strip any user-supplied values for `sessionToken`, `expiresAt`, and `createdWith`.
OpenCTI is an open source platform for managing cyber threat intelligence knowledge and observables. Prior to version 6.9.1, the GraphQL mutations "IndividualDeletionDeleteMutation" is intended to allow users to delete individual entity objects respectively. However, it was observed that this mutation can be misused to delete unrelated and sensitive objects such as analyses reports etc. This behavior stems from the lack of validation in the API to ensure that the targeted object is contextually related to the mutation being executed. Version 6.9.1 fixes the issue.
SimpleEval is a library for adding evaluatable expressions into python projects. Prior to 1.0.5, objects (including modules) can leak dangerous modules through to direct access inside the sandbox. If the objects you've passed in as names to SimpleEval have modules or other disallowed / dangerous objects available as attrs. Additionally, dangerous functions or modules could be accessed by passing them as callbacks to other safe functions to call. The latest version 1.0.5 has this issue fixed. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.5.
CVE-2026-27591 is a critical improper access control vulnerability in Winter CMS, a Laravel-based content management system. Authenticated backend users with any level of access can exploit this flaw to escalate their privileges by manipulating roles and permissions via crafted backend requests. This vulnerability affects Winter CMS versions prior to 1.0.477, 1.1.12, and 1.2.12. Exploitation requires an authenticated backend user account but no user interaction beyond that.
Unicorn adds modern reactive component functionality to your Django templates. Prior to 0.67.0, component state manipulation is possible in django-unicorn due to missing access control checks during property updates and method calls. An attacker can bypass the intended _is_public protection to modify internal attributes such as template_name or trigger protected methods. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.67.0.
Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to version 3.0.13, unauthenticated users can inject arbitrary values into internal database fields when creating leads. This issue has been patched in version 3.0.13.
Immutable.js versions prior to 3.8.3, 4.3.7, and 5.1.5 contain a Prototype Pollution vulnerability. This flaw affects several APIs including mergeDeep(), mergeDeepWith(), merge(), Map.toJS(), and Map.toObject(), allowing attackers with some level of privilege to inject properties into JavaScript object prototypes. The vulnerability has been patched in the specified fixed versions.
Snipe-IT versions prior to 8.3.7 contain sensitive user attributes related to account privileges that are insufficiently protected against mass assignment. An authenticated, low-privileged user can craft a malicious API request to modify restricted fields of another user account, including the Super Admin account. By changing the email address of the Super Admin and triggering a password reset, an attacker can fully take over the Super Admin account, resulting in complete administrative control of the Snipe-IT instance.
Craft is a content management system (CMS). Prior to 4.17.0-beta.1 and 5.9.0-beta.1, the entry creation process allows for Mass Assignment of the authorId attribute. A user with "Create Entries" permission can inject the authorIds[] (or authorId) parameter into the POST request, which the backend processes without verifying if the current user is authorized to assign authorship to others. Normally, this field is not present in the request for users without the necessary permissions. By manually adding this parameter, an attacker can attribute the new entry to any user, including Admins. This effectively "spoofs" the authorship. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.17.0-beta.1 and 5.9.0-beta.1.
