CVE-2026-11526: CWE-78 Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') in RURBAN GDCVE-2026-11526 0 GD versions prior to 2.86 for Perl contain an OS command injection vulnerability in the _make_filehandle function. This function uses Perl's 2-argument open() on filename arguments, which allows filenames starting or ending with pipe characters or redirection symbols to be interpreted as commands or redirects. This affects all filename-accepting constructors such as new, newFromPng, and newFromJpeg. The in-memory *Data variants are not affected. Untrusted input passed as a filename can lead to arbitrary command execution or file truncation under the process user ID.
