CVE-2026-61574: CWE-639: Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key in goauthentik authentikCVE-2026-61574 0 authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5, the Remote Access Control endpoint list returns every configured endpoint to any authenticated user regardless of which applications the user may access, and the response includes connection settings that can contain stored credentials. The endpoint listing does not apply the access controls governing the endpoints, and the connection flow does not confirm that an endpoint belongs to the Remote Access Control application through which it was launched. Any authenticated user can therefore read every endpoint together with its host and stored credentials and can open a connection to an endpoint belonging to another application. This exposes stored credentials for managed RDP, SSH, and VNC targets and grants interactive access to systems the user was never authorized to reach. Deployments that do not use the enterprise Remote Access Control provider are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5. CVE-2026-55106: CWE-862: Missing Authorization in goauthentik authentikCVE-2026-55106 0 authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5, a diagnostic action on the LDAP Source API does not enforce the object-level read-authorization filter used by the rest of the API. Any party able to reach the API, including an unauthenticated client, can invoke the diagnostic action against a configured LDAP Source. The server then connects to the upstream directory using the source's configured bind credentials and returns a bounded set of directory entries. The response exposes the distinguished names of those entries and the names of the attributes present on them, revealing directory structure, naming conventions, and the existence of specific accounts and groups, but not attribute values. Deployments without a configured LDAP Source are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5. CVE-2026-54730: CWE-284: Improper Access Control in goauthentik authentikCVE-2026-54730 0 authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5, the enterprise Google Chrome device-trust stages advance the flow without confirming that the out-of-band device attestation actually ran. Affected enterprise deployments place either a Google Chrome Endpoint stage with mode set to REQUIRED or the deprecated Google Chrome Device Trust Connector stage in an authentication flow. The device attestation occurs in a verification iframe that calls the Google Verified Access API and records the verified device on success, but the vulnerable stages treat the flow as passed as soon as the stage is submitted. An attacker who can reach such a stage, including after primary username and password authentication, can skip the verification iframe and authenticate from a device that was never verified. Where device trust is the only additional factor, that protection is fully bypassed, while other configured factors remain in force. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5. CVE-2026-57580: CWE-436: Interpretation Conflict in goauthentik authentikCVE-2026-57580 0 authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5, an inbound SAML Source configured with the non-default USERNAME_LINK or EMAIL_LINK user-matching mode interprets an XML comment in a NameID differently from the identity provider's signed assertion. An attacker with an account on the source identity provider who can set the account's NameID can inject an XML comment that truncates the value used by authentik to the text before the comment while the signed assertion remains valid. A crafted NameID can therefore truncate to a victim's username or email and bind the attacker's external identity to the victim's existing account. This grants full takeover without the victim's password or the identity provider's private key, and the malicious link persists so later logins succeed without the comment. Sources using the default unique-identifier matching mode and authentik's outbound SAML Provider role are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.2.6 and 2026.5.5.
