Pi.Alert is a WIFI / LAN intruder detector with web service monitoring. From 2024-06-29 to before 2026-05-07, the web application endpoint is vulnerable to SQL injection. The /pialert/php/server/devices.php route accepts requests from unauthenticated users when the action URL parameter is set to getDevicesTotals. The scansource URL parameter is then injected in a SQL query. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026-05-07.

CVE-2026-44887 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability in leiweibau Pi. Alert versions prior to 2026-05-07. The web-based configuration editor allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary Python code into the pialert.conf file. Since the background scan daemon executes this configuration file using Python's exec(), the injected code runs with the daemon's privileges. The default configuration disables web protection, enabling unauthenticated exploitation. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 9.8 and is fixed as of version 2026-05-07.

CVE-2026-44888 is a critical code injection vulnerability in leiweibau Pi. Alert versions prior to 2026-05-07. The SaveConfigFile() endpoint improperly writes user-supplied numeric configuration values directly into a configuration file (pialert.conf) without validation. This file is executed every few minutes by a background Python process, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary Python code and achieve OS-level remote code execution. By default, installations have no web protection enabled, requiring no credentials to exploit. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 9.8 and was fixed on 2026-05-07. No official patch link or advisory is provided in the data, and no known exploits are reported in the wild.
