0

CVE-2024-46878 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability found in the 'page' parameter of tiki-editpage.php in Tiki CMS version 26.3 and earlier. This flaw allows an attacker with at least low privileges and requiring user interaction to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the victim's browser. The vulnerability can lead to unauthorized actions or access to sensitive information within the affected web application. Although no known exploits are currently reported in the wild, the vulnerability has a medium severity score of 5.4. The attack requires the victim to interact with a crafted payload, and the vulnerability impacts confidentiality and integrity but not availability. Organizations using Tiki CMS should prioritize patching or mitigating this issue to prevent potential exploitation. The countries most at risk are those with significant Tiki CMS usage, including the United States, Germany, France, Brazil, and India.

An authenticated command injection vulnerability exists in Tiki Wiki CMS versions ≤14.1, ≤12.4 LTS, ≤9.10 LTS, and ≤6.14 via the `viewmode` GET parameter in `tiki-calendar.php`. When the calendar module is enabled and an authenticated user has permission to access it, an attacker can inject and execute arbitrary PHP code. Successful exploitation leads to remote code execution in the context of the web server user.
